I spent the weekend on Guemes Island in the San Juans with the very gebnerous family of a very good friend, Dasha. (Dasha, if you’re reading this, thank you so much for everything! I had and awesome time) And i have a myriad of pictures to share. so, the next few posts will all be about Guemes. But this one is about the lovely Madrona trees that populate the island with their trademark red peeling bark.
