Self-Portrait: Makeup

I saw this photo on pinterest, and was immediately inspired.  I just had to do this.  But in doing so, I wanted to have the black makeup more matte, so that my forehead blended in with the background completely.  I also wanted the makeup lower, so the silhouette resembled a masquerade’s mask.

This required A LOT of editing.  The black background was added, the pink makeup was added, and the bluer eyes where added.  And then, of course there was the darkening of the black makeup and blending it with the new background, Voila!

  1. Wow! Wow! That is amazing and fascinating. Most interesting self portrait, way beyond my own imagination. Absolutely startling.
